The company Trimble, with whom we work, warned us of an issue impacting all products developed in the geophysical branch.
Indeed, Trimble informs us of a rollover (overflow in calculating the number of weeks TU) problem regarding GPS cards in the Lassen family.
Hathor & Locsat products:
On February 14, 2016 at 00:00:00, the cards will no longer give the correct date but the date of June 30, 1996.
This change of date is associated with a period of 2 hours during which the receivers will no longer give position.
The obsolescence of these products does not allow us to offer alternatives unless we identify a large number of users wanting to upgrade their products.
On February 14, 2016 at 00:00:00 starts a 2 hour period during which receivers will no longer give position.
On July 28, 2019 at 00:00:00, cards operating under the NMEA protocol will no longer work.
The stations delivered since July 1, 2015 are not impacted by this issue. A further notice will give the number of the stations impacted by the problem.
For these stations a replacement kit will be developed and proposed to users.
The pricing and timing are being analyzed.
The goal is that these changes can be installed directly by users via a simple card change.

Seismic risks are often causes of significant and hardly predictable damage. To ensure the maximum security of areas with potential seismic risks, our scientists and engineers have developed a solution.
Our device allows a comprehensive approach to seismic risks and aim to limit their effects.
- Automatic shutdown of facilities
- Automatic relief shipments
- Creation of acquisition and security beacons
Risk prevention, protection of the environment
- Detection and measurement of seismic shocks
- Susceptibility analysis of buildings collapsing
- Automatic monitoring of landslide
Our key product: CitySharkII is a multichannel acquisition station specializing in the recording of background noise, which is dedicated to the seismology civil study and geophysical research.
This station has an excellent signal/noise ratio and is easy to use.
